At Artfully Overjoyed we believe that collaboration is vital to creatives, which is why we love teaming up with other vendors for shoots! It not only gives us a chance to play around with different paper ideas, but work alongside extremely talented business owners. Today we are featuring our gumball glamour styled shoot we co-hosted with Courtney Ethridge last fall! Check out Artfully Overjoyed at Willow in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri.

Of course a wedding day is about the couple getting married, but it’s always fun to create a unique experience for guests as well. We wanted our guest experience to play a larger role in the overall idea of this shoot, so we built the entire concept on it! The idea went a little like this:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Guests would use the monogramed coin they received in their invitation suite to take a spin at the gumball machine. Each gumball in the machine has a number on it, so whatever number pops out is where guests would be invited to sit. Once they received their table assignment, they’d grab a personalized gumball machine (a themed take on an escort card) and a conversation starter to help guide table conversations. From there we’d let fate decide who guests meet at their tables!
